NBC‘s Today Show did a segment on DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular arena show on Friday, May 11, 2012. Up Close with a Baby Nadder Dragon

This is a short little video of a brief performance of the baby Deadly Nadder dragon suit type puppet/costume that appears in the How to Train Your Dragon Arena Spectacular. The baby dragon along with his Viking trainer made an appearance at a shopping mall in Australia to help promote the arena show when it was in town. It’s interesting to watch the dragon perform and it must be a fairly light weight suit in order to be so mobile and quick on his feet. Fan Creates Own Toothless Quadsuit Costume

While many of us are waiting for the How to Train Your Dragon Arena Spectacular to arrive in our own city, here’s one dragon fan that decided to create their own live experience by making a costume for Toothless. This isn’t your typical Halloween costume by any means as it’s a suit designed to walk on four legs, commonly referred to as a quadsuit, and it allows a single person to perform a quadruped animal like Toothless the dragon.
